We Care About Animals
Healthy Animals are critical for maximising productivity and minimising unnecessary losses and animal health costs. Often, just caring for your animals and feeding them well-balanced, nutritious diets is not quite enough; this is particularly so for calves as we rear them in the same facilities year on year. What we now appreciate is that the first hours and days “imprint” a lifetime of health (or not) on the calf (any infant animal) through the biological makeup of its developing gut. A great start here in turn reduces disease, morbidity and mortality, and results in higher lifetime production at reduced cost - whether meat, dairy or fibre.
